This delicious drink originates from Veracruz but is very popular throughout Mexico. It is traditionally made from cane-based alcohol and flavoured with natural fruits. Its name dates back to when local workers spent very long working days cutting sugar cane. They prepared this fruit drink so they felt as strong as toros (bulls) and would be able to get through the day‘s work.

250g strawberries, mango, custard-apple, guava or pineapple pieces
