Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1kg tayberries
caster sugar
1 teaspoon pectin powder

Method

  1. Follow the recipe for Blackcurrant Jelly, above, substituting tayberries for the blackcurrants. When the mixture comes to the boil after you have added the sugar, take out a ladleful of the juice, pour it into a small bowl and add the pectin powder, stirring until dissolved. Return this mixture to the pan and continue as for Blackcurrant Jelly.
