Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
45ml dry gin
45ml kina l’aero d’or, (or Cocchi Americano)
1/2 teaspoon creme de noyaux, (or amaretto)
2 dashes orange bitters
2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
200ml brut champagne, (or dry sparkling wine)
a twist orange peel, for each glass to garnish

Method

  1. Put the first five ingredients into a shaker, add plenty of cubed ice and shake hard until the shaker is very frosty. Fine-strain, dividing evenly between two glasses, top with Champagne and add the garnish.

Note

  • Tastes a little strong, sweet, bitter and sour.

Note

  • This is best served in a champagne flute glass.
