This drink represents a collaboration between me and some off-duty staff, especially Nellie Cairns. It is a combination of a clear chocolate martini and her requests.

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
3 coffee beans
30ml van gogh chocolate vodka
30ml see method for ingredients, (preferably Vedrenne)
5ml absolut vanilia vodka
1 bullet chilli, sliced into four pieces lengthwise

Method

  1. Use a muddler to crush the coffee beans in a shaker, but not too finely. Add the chocolate vodka, crème de cacao and Absolut Vanilia.
  2. Add the chilli and shake it hard over ice only a few times. Taste; if it is not hot enough shake it some more, but be careful, as it can get hot pretty quickly!
  3. Strain into a martini glass through a tea strainer to filter out any big coffee grains.
