I’m often overwhelmed by all the latest food trends that are infiltrating our healthy cereals these days. There is a dizzying array of ‘super foods’ out there and just as many weird and wacky sugar alternatives.
This recipe, by contrast, is never going to win a prize for innovation, but with its wholesome, simple and infinitely adaptable mix of grains, nuts, seeds and dried fruit, it’s a doddle to make, so that I can focus on the more pressing decisions that lie ahead for me each day.
