Sweet green tea with fresh mint is always lovely. We use less sugar than the original, but you can add more if you wish. Use Moroccan mint or spearmint, if available.

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 litre water
90g caster sugar
2 tablespoons green tea
small bunch fresh mint leaves

Method

  1. Bring the water and sugar to the boil, then add the green tea and mint leaves. Steep for 5-6 minutes. Serve the tea in small glasses with a little mint sprig in each glass.
