This all-natural muesli is great with creamy yoghurt or scattered over a fruit salad.

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
100g almonds or walnuts
100g peeled sunflower seeds
250g organic rolled oats
90g raw sugar
150ml water
3 tablespoons vegetable oil, (not olive oil)

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C. Roughly chop the almonds or walnuts. Combine the chopped nuts in a bowl with the sunflower seeds, rolled oats and sugar.
  2. Mix the water and oil, splash it over the oat mix and then squeeze with your hand to lightly moisten the muesli. Line a large baking tray with non-stick baking paper and spread the muesli on top.
  3. Toast in the oven for 25 minutes, or until golden, stirring occasionally. Remove the tray from the oven and allow the muesli to cool. Store in an airtight jar for up to 1 month.
