Both pleasant and simple, and perfect with a glass of wine. Decorate the cheese platter with a few pretty leaves (we like to use pear or grape leaves, or just a large walnut leaf or two).

Ingredients

Method

  1. Arrange dried fruit on a platter, perhaps some apricots, figs or a few dates on a twig. Place a few small bowls of nuts (such as fresh walnuts, toasted almonds and pecans) on the table as well. Add a couple of flavourful cheeses, for instance Taleggio, a piece of Brie de Meaux or a rustic country goat’s cheese.
