Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
2 ripe and sweet mangoes
500ml mild natural yoghurt
pinch sugar, (optional)
50-100ml cold water, (optional)
ground cardamom, (optional)

Method

  1. Peel and cut the mangoes into pieces. Put the mango pieces in a blender with approximately half the yoghurt, and mix until smooth. Add the rest of the yoghurt, and a pinch of sugar and water if using. Stir, pour into glasses and serve right away, perhaps sprinkled with a touch of ground cardamom.
  2. A cool and refreshing Indian yoghurt drink, perfect as a snack or as a great way to start the day.
