Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 long green chilli, roughly chopped
3 teaspoons sea salt
1 lime, cut into 6 wedges

Method

  1. Place the chilli in a mortar and pound to a coarse texture. Add the salt and pound until combined. Do not overwork the mixture, as larger pieces of chilli and salt enhance the flavour of this dipping salt
  2. Divide among six dipping bowls. Just before serving, squeeze a wedge of lime over each bowl.
